HOME Preschool
The First United Methodist Preschool is designed to provide an environment in which each child may grow “in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” We offer a program with the highest standards of quality early childhood education. In an atmosphere of love and respect, each child is encouraged to expand his/her concept of the world.
Our well-rounded program provides for developmentally appropriate growth: emotionally, cognitively, socially, physically, and spiritually. Children are given the opportunity to initiate choices of activities, as well as having teacher-initiated instruction time.
The goals of our program include increasing each child’s capacity to reason and express himself/herself, and encouraging a spirit of inquiry in a creative learning environment.
